Have you been worried about the dark pigmentation on your cheek? Or about the huge pimple on your forehead? Or do you want a fresh glow to your skin? I would recommend making a turmeric paste. This quick and easy recipe can provide a natural glow and barrier to your skin.
Ingredients

Turmeric:
Anti-inflammatory: It is known to reduce oxidation, heal tissues, and renew the collagen barrier.
Turmeric is also known to hinder the production of melanin which is known to cause hyperpigmentation. If you use this mask consistently, your skin will eventually convert to an even tone.
Yogurt:
Yogurt contains lactic acid which acts as a natural exfoliator for your skin. It eliminates dead skin cells located on the epidermis.
Lactic acid also encourages our skin to make more ceramides. This component locks in moisture to ensure your skin's hydration. Because of the humidity, these molecules help prevent hyperpigmentation + dark spots as well. Ceramides are also signs that this mask is sensitive skin friendly.
Honey (alternate):
Honey is known to be a natural humectant. This means it locks in moisture and creates a barrier against dry skin. It renews the skin's natural moisture. This gives a dewy, fresh look to the skin.
Honey has been used to heal and aid since ancient times. Ancient Egyptians mixed honey with various ingredients to heal pain. It is used today for medicinal purposes to treat wounds, soothe sore throats, and fabricate different ailments. This sweet, non-comedogenic substance reduces bacteria and oils built up in the pores of your skin.
Gram Flour (alternate):
Gram flour is loaded with exfoliating and alkaline properties. It aids in gently removing impurities and preventing breakouts by cleaning out your pores.
This ingredient is also known for its tan removal abilities and for producing a consistent skin tone.
It also soothes any type of irritated skin. So suppose you have a bad sunburn, this ingredient will help your skin cool down and reduce any inflammation.
Vocabulary
I will provide a short description of the italicized words above to get a better understanding.
Anti-inflammatory: A substance that reduces any type of inflammation such as swelling, pain, heat, or redness.
Collagen: A type of protein in the body that makes up your skin, nails, hair, cartilage, etc.
Melanin: A substance that your body produces when exposed to the sun to cause hair, skin, and eye pigmentation. The more melanin you produce, the more darker your skin is.
Lactic Acid: An important chemical used for respiration, glucose balance, and healing inflammation.
Epidermis: The outermost layer of your skin. It controls and determines your skin tone, protects your skin from harm, and regulates hydration.
Ceramides: These beneficial molecules are fats or lipids (waxes) found in your skin cells.
Humectant: Substances that retain or attract water.
Non-comedogenic: A substance that does not clog pores. Note that this substance is not recommended for people with dry skin.
Alkaline: Known to renew and neutralize acid found throughout your body.
